Hardships Faced by Americans During Revolution
Disavantages of the Americans in the begining of the Revolutionary war were limited supplies like amunittion, artillery, and food, few enlistments, little funding, an untrained army of volunteers, lack of high ranked officers, and divided public opinion. Some of these disatvantages such as money, food, and amunition were overcome by French support in 1776. As a result of French support enlistment numbers rapidly increased. In 1778 Baron Von Steuben helped to train the US soldiers and elevate the US army to a more professional level. One of the tactics he trained the US army in was the use of bayonets.

Advantages
The advantages in the Revolutionary war where that the Patriots where fighting on home ground, fighting for their lives, we used guerrilla warfare, the offecers of the british army did not have the jugdement to lead troops into battle, and finally we had an alliance with the french. This alliance helped by having more soldiers to fight with us in the war.
Disadvantages
Some disadvantages is that some of the "patriots" where not what you think they were traitors and would get information for the British so they know when each side is going to strike. This also gives us disadvantage brcause we will never know who is and who isnt someone that can be trusted. We also had a certain amount of amunition to get throught the war with enough
